Myloplasia-bone Marrow Stem Cell Disorder

Well sort of having some bad news here.
This is the month of my rounds of doctors.
Yesterday went to my Oncology.
Have been going for sometime.
Think that I never discussed this here.
My bone marrow is not producing enough red cell count.
Guess you call this a disorder.
For the last three years been on the border line and was doing fine.
He told me to continued what I was doing.
Like my workout and playing tennis.
Had the blood drawn there and waited for him in his office.
A little concern but not too much.
That my count has drop some and ask me if I had any internal bleeding.Like blood in the stool.
Yes,not no problem there
These things can turn inleukemia.
Now he wants to see me every six months instead of my yearly check up with him.
Told him that I was having blood work done next week.
My six months checkup or follow up with my Primary Doctor.
Was hoping to hear better news.
So,now a little worry whats going to happen in the near future.
But,but, will not be negative and keep on what I am doing.
Was a tad depressed but not bad.
Tomorrow see my EENT doctor for my follow up with him.
Mostly cleaning the wax out of my ears.
Then next week to the primary doctor.
Have to be positive about all of this.
We will see.
Normally I am very private in talking about my health.
Now I do feel better in talking to you.
Today I am home,no game due to the storm that we are having.
Mike went to work today and a little nervous about him driving in.
With sleet,rain,icy,snow etc.
He send me an email for me not to leave the house.
For the traffic was moving very slowly.
Did not have any intention leaving.
Beside Buffy is glad that I am home.LOL
All right enough of this.
Be safe.

Your oncologist would have immediately done more follow-up if he was overly-concerned. Since he is waiting six months before he sees you again, I would be inclined to think he is not terribly worried. Glad you shared, Fredo. That is why we are here--to share, to encourage, and to support. Since I have had cancer, I understand a little better than most. Sorry to hear about your terrible weather. Just cold here--but no precip.

Thx sharing this, specially cause u never talk about these issues. Its bothering you I can read between the lines. What is with to day? Do we all want to express the feelings we never shared with others? (see my post lol)
Take care Fredo and pls keep us informed.

It must be something in the air--I have had a very 'bad' morning--will talk about it in blog later--trying to calm down and get back to sleep!
