After reading Dottie's blog of Day Wasted and saw the photograph of her parents.How wonderful they looked.
So this inspired me to put my ma and pa on my blog.
In honor of my mother on Mothers Day.
Dottie was talking about the hair as for me here is the hats.
My Pa had this straw hat that he worn most of the time.
My Ma has her usual black hat and outfit.
Now I am not sure and still have not find out if this is the wedding picture or something else.
I study the photograph.
PA looks happy and had a soft smile to his face.
My mother for some reason had sadness in her eyes.
Almost teary.
Keep in mind Italian women in those days always dressed in black.I cannot remember if she ever had a color house dress or not.
I loved the style of the had.
Noticed the necktie on my father sort of unkempt.
I do not think this is the wedding picture or it may have been.
Maybe they were very proud being in America.
I still continued to study this and try to get the feelings of their expression.
So class,what do you think and what can you come up with.
Now,I am thinking,this cannot be the wedding picture.
They looked much older there.
They were in their young ages when they came to America.
Born outside of Naples,Italy.
A village or town name "Mellizano"we have been there twice as still had my cousins there.
Not sure that she is still around,but the new generation is.
We had a wonderful time.
Oh!getting away from the subject.
I cannot figured out the ages there.
Nonetheless,I cherished this photo and the only one that we have.
