Low Fat Zucchini Brownie

This is not for a big sweet eater.
This recipe is very low fat for those who are
watching their diet and not to have too much sugar.
Not sure if anyone watches 60 minutes last night about the dangers of too much sugar. Most or some of you know this.

This is very tasty and good for a snack.
This is the last crop of my zucchini.Thank goodness.LOL

Here it is:
Ingredients.

1/2 cup of unsweetened apple sauce.
2 small or medium bananas mashed
1 1/2 cup of sugar(note"for me use just 1/2 cup of sugar)
2 tsp.vanilla extract
1/2 cup coca powder
1 1/2 tsp of baking soda

1/2 tsp salt
2 cups finely shredded zucchini
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup of walnut pieces(I threw in a handful of chocolate chips)

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Grease and flour an 9x13 baking pan
In a large bowl, mixed together the applesauce, sugar and mashed bananas.
Add vanilla and cocoa mix together
Then add baking soda, salt, and zucchini and mixed together
Add flour and walnuts mixed together.
Spread evenly into a prepared pan.
Bake for 25 minutes
Until brownies spring back when gently touched.
This is a big serving:24 pieces.
Shared them with your friends, lovers, neighbor etc.
Now if you want more taste, have it with ice cream low fat or fat free Greek yogurt on top like a frosting.
You can do many things with it.
Glad that my zucchini run is over.
Now to finished up my pesto for Mike to bring in to work.
I have been neglect to make cookies.
Will not buy store or bakery cookies as they are full of sugar.
Lets cut down on the sugar and the fight the obesity in children and adults.
Sugar can kill you in later years. For some of us too late.LOL.
Give up on those awful sugary drinks.
Never have them and never will.
We have too many diabetics out there and heart problem.
Take care of your self and educate the family.
Whew!sorry to be so morbid.
But still love ya.LOL.

Ok Fredo, as you know a life without sugar is not for me and I will continue
to be chubby. But I have lived 83 years and am healthy so sugar is not a
death sentence. I do drink diet drinks and use a lot of nutra sweet and am
trying to eat more protein. I had cheese and sliced tomatoes for
breakfast. I picked my last zucchini this morning. I like to use a thin
layer in lasagna. Hugs

It is a brownie whether you liked it or not.You have not tried it,so do not give this a bad reputation.A brownie is a brownie.Trust me you will liked it.

ZUCCHINI BROWNIE????? UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's NOT a brownie--brownies DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING HEALTHY IN THEM--that's why I love them!

I know that it is not a brownie, brownie, had to used up the zucchini what can I say.All you have to do is top with whipped cream or ice cream etc.Sorry, that this is not your cup of tea.
But if you had a chance to try it .I think that you may liked it.

I need to make dog biscuits and have been slacking on that... this recipe sounds ... interesting. I think I'd rather taste them before I put efforts into making them, as backwards as that sounds.
