This is sort of a different Blog.
Lets Talk About Buffy.
Well he will be 13 yrs next month.
He is good health with minor problems of his joints.
Other than that he is fine.
He was a rescue dog from the Cocker Spaniel.
Our first one was a cocker and died at a very young age of 7
From as they tell us blood disease.
We had him as a pup.
Buffy came to our place at the age of one year plus.
Abused by children in the last owner.
I have spend many dollars in getting him some training.
Some works and some not.
I have been bitten by him many times and so has Mike.
One of the bite that I got was infected and spend several day in the hospital.
Everyone was asking to put him down and I refused to do this.
First I looked at the behavior that he had with the prior owner.
Mike called the Cocker Spaniel Rescue to come and get him back as we do not want him.
When it was time and Mike says they will come if needed.
We have put up with this for so many years and kept quiet about this to our friends.
Why!not sure was I ashamed?maybe.
Knowing that there is something good there and I am going to find out.
Here we are 12 years later and spending many dollars on him with the health issues and of course feeding him and boarding him.
Why did I go through with this?not sure.
When he goes to day care in his younger days and saying that he was no problem and they loved him.
Going to be groomed no problem.
So what is the answer?not sure.
I or we stuck by him all these years and finally he came to a halt of snapping at us.
He love Mike and goes wherever he goes.
Yes,he loves me also.
I know that they are problem many people out there whey did you put up with this problem.
Not sure but I did and glad that I did.
He is a very lucky dog to be with us.
I know that many out there would not have put up with this.
we have gave up so many things so that he can share our home.
Now that he is 13 and losing some of his hearing and vision he is a jewel so far.He behave and had a few accident in the house and this is typical of some dogs.
Yes,Buffy is one lucky dog and we loved him.

This is when he had his surgery.
We will see what the future will bring.
Thank you for listening to Talking about Buffy.
