Hi !!! I've been kinda out of pocket for awhile - I had surgery on my foot, dealt with preparations for Hurricane Rita, and then had computer problems needing to be fixed. Got the computer fixed, made out ok on Rita and am recovering from surgery - so, I'm finally back in the blogosphere now (lol). Just gotta keep on keepin' on (smile).

I've been catching up on reading the blogs I missed while I was outta pocket. I'm glad to hear you got your phone call - you were getting pretty depressed for awhile there. It's hard when you don't hear from loved one for so long. But, great to know he's still alive and well and getting closer to coming home. The poem you wrote below was great - I really enjoyed it.
