Someone whom I admire on here I think you'll like this I found tonight with my old things.....

The seas were wild;the winds
were blowing strong.
God said,"My child,come into My arms;"
I was wet;the winds were raging so
I could not see my way,
felt I had no place to go.
Still,God cried,"Come to Me,I'm here;"
But the battle of the winds caused
me not to hear.

I withdrew into myself;
fear became my friends;
I said I'll brave the storms until
my journey's end.
Weak,alone,I tried so hard to fight
Against the raging winds,
I battled for my life.

But then I saw His face and listened to His voice;
"Come to Me and rest,I say you have a choice,
But fear's not welcome here in the comfort of My arms;
A choice you'll have to make between fear
or wisdom's charms.
I know belief is hard when you cannot see your way,
Yet you're welcome in My arms,but,fear,
it cannot stay!"

"But fear has been a friend; he's familiar,
Lord, to me."


" I say,he's not your friend,but a vile enemy;
You cannot have us both,a choice you'll have to make;
If I am in your boat,throw fear into the lake!"


I threw my friend named FEAR into the raging sea;
He's no longer welcome here;it's just my God and me.
And now I'm in His arms, nestled 'gainst His chest
The wind has not been stilled,but I have found my rest.
