                  Driving Inspiration

There is a taxi company in our town that prides itself on little quotes written on the trunk of each taxi.

     The messages are always quite clever or amusing, and bring a smile.I often wonder if the driver picks out the quote or is assigned one.Some are funny,some enlightening, and the true gems are often both.

    The other day, as i came upon one of these philosophical taxicabs at a red light.This one read,"The only difference between try and triumph is the UMPH."

   What a true statement I found that to be.Without trying and putting some real effort into your goal, there can be no success.I shared this message with one of my sons later that very evening as he procrastinated on a homework assignment.

   Long life those taxis with the messages that inspire and encourage us!
