Please Help Me, I'm Falling . . .

We have the tv on while I am here on the computer. The movie 'A Perfect World' is on (Clint Eastwood and Kevin Costner). Anyhow, a scene in it included this song courtesy of the cars radio. I used to love this song - haven't heard it in years!!!

I have a diverse taste in music too. Love C&W for telling it like it is.
It reminds me of the time when I was at the mercy of pheromones.

Exactly - I find that if I like something in any form (art work - to zing animation) if I like it 'I like it'. I don't care for too much 'catorgorizeation' of anything.

It is very similar to the 'old' blogster - remember Eddie the blogster owner? Well he owns this one now.

Never saw or heard about this movie. Not interest in country song.
But we are falling all of the time.Keep looking out the window to see that drastic snow falling.

It is a good song, I like quite a bit of C&W - Dolly Parton is very talented, Shania Twain's great too.
Our snow left here about last week, thank goodness - don't get me wrong, I love snow - in 'moderation' I thought we were ending up in another 'ice-age'

If it comes on tv again with you, look out for the scene with Kevin Costner and a young boy driving along in the car; I think Costner is telling the child that it is a 'time machine' - the song gets played in the background about then. Also, toward the end, a record is playing on a record player - it is a 'bagpipe' version of that song too (good one actually)

Guess you'll have to hum a few bars for me. Wait a minute! Now that the photo popped up, I remember this country song. And you like it?????

In 1972, I had moved to Wales and was working in a boutique called 'Cobweb' and we had a 'tape recorder' with various songs on it. The owner of the shop had a liking to 'Country & Western', so she had loads of these tapes. That song was on a few of them and it was one of those tunes which are easy to pick up and I would end up humming/singing (badly lol). I had virtually forgotten it untill I heard it in the background!
I have got a very 'varied' love of music - as I sit here at the computer I see c.d's of Hair, Black Sabbath, Rolling Stones, R.E.M., Gilbert & Sullivan, The Clash. U.B.40, Ska Mania - to name but a very, few.
