Laramie

We have been watching an western movie 'Chisum' and an actor turns up cuts the saddle from a horse and a body slides onto the ground. The actor who cut the saddle bugged me . . . then I remembered where I had known him from - wow - some 50 years ago (shakes head in dis-belief) !!!

Yes, it was Robert Fuller !

Ah, we of the same age (well, sorta). 50s TV westerns and movies were adventurous to this young kid. 60s got a little more serious. More recent westerns are filled with tragedy. I prefer the oldies.

Me too. I would like to see a few more being made though. Alias Smith & Jones back in the 70's (where 'has' the time gone . . .)?! Was a good one. Some more in a similar vein, I think would be nice - so I can drift off into a 'fantasy landdddddd . . . . .'

I like a good western. Every thing usually works out in the end.

So do I !! I was brought up with 'Westerns' on the t.v. I get fed up with the amount of 'sci-fi' on the television. Not that I don't like them, it is just a bit too much. Why don't the t.v. companies make another series akin to Laramie, Rawhide, Wagon train or High Chaparral (spelling)??? I would thoroughly enjoy that
