it sounds like rock needs someone to tell him to stop damaging his relationship with his kids. hopefully he will realize it on his own. when you are in america go to the drugstore and get some mucinex. it works wonders on congestion! I am glad you made friends with the little mousey. they are so cute, how could you not like them! 
let's hear it for moms! I so agree with this whole article! I have been in those spots, listening to other moms. it totally cracks me up. I think they are missing out on a lot of real life simply because they have more money.
we can't pick our family, they are just given to us. my suggestion is just forgive your family for their non-acceptance. you have to live your own life and find your own happiness. you (both) have a circle of friends here who are supporting and encouraging and following this journey with you. and don't forget the Angels!
