A Pretty Sunday ...

It's been a pretty day all day. Temps in the upper 70's lots of sunshine.

It's been the first weekend in over a month that both me and my hubby have felt like doing much of anything.

We played it lazy this morning...watching a movie.....We watched: No Country for Old Men... I like Tommy Lee Jones and was interested in seeing it as it won so many awards. I'm not gonna tell anything about it, in case others haven't seen it yet. I'm not really sure I liked it, it's one you sort of have to see more than once to really get the meaning behind it.

We had to go get groceries as we haven't gotten any in over a month...we would stop by on the way home and get a few things, but not a full fledge shopping spree. So we knew when we left today it was gonna be a whopper of a bill. We managed to get out of there under $250...but it was very close. Not too bad I don't think as we were out of just about everything...

After we put up the groceries we watched another movie....RATATOUILLE...or what ever it's called. Nothing like watching a bunch of Rats trying to cook...*laughs* It wasn't too bad...if you have small kids I'm sure they loved it.
It's been a nice day...yesterday I got frustrated with the men in the house...just one of those days when nothing got done, and everyone was in a mood. Today was much better...
Supper is done...and everyone is just being lazy....Hubby is on his computer trying to kill some dragons...My son is in his cave...I'm sure deep into some sports show. Me...well I'm gonna take a walk around MyBloggerstown and see what everyone is up to....*grins*...

Nice day! I wish you had told about "No Country..." because I'll never see it. My husband doesn't like Tommy Lee. I think in one movie he shouted too much... It's like there was a movie that Jack Nicholson was very sarcastic, so we don't see Nicholson movies either. We miss a lot of good movies!!

I thought the Rat movie was cute. Grace wasn't into it at all. But we really dug Horton Hears A Who...caught that this Saturday.
Glad things were better for you on Sunday.

I'm with you. I bought the movie and will have to watch it again. I was very disappointed with the ending--perhaps I just missed the point!

It's been beautiful in NY too for the past week or more. Won't be long before we're complaining of drought. The HBO series about Adams is on the tube, and I sure as heck need a break after the first day of pushing a mower! Have a great week!

Beautiful day here, too.
I didn't like or even understand the ending of "old Men"--did you??
Well if Mars doesn't have chocolate I am canceling my trip there!
Ummm--I spend about $60 a week that's about $240 a month and I live alone--well chocolate is getting more expensive--worse than gas prices.

ah yes, those boys!
I liked no country for old men, aside from the ending. I didn't think it was hard to follow???
