Monday Blahs..

I don't feel so hot this morning.Â Â Got some sort of stomach bug or something.Â Â It started yesterday...couldn't get far from the bathroom...(I know...I know...TMI)..I feel sick to my stomach this morning.Â Â Â But I'm at work.Â Â Â Â I'm not fond of Mondays.
Spent most of my time this weekend reading.Â Â My new addiction:Â Charlaine Harris...Sookie Stackhouse books.Â Â Â It's the books the new HBO series "True Blood" is based on.Â Â Â Â I read books 1 and 2 Friday night (couldn't put it down)..and all day Saturday.Â Â They spent Sunday re-reading certain parts.Â Â FANTASTIC!!!Â Â Â Â I've always loved Vampires, and Faeries, and stuff like that...so this is my new addiction...LOL
Friday was in meetings all day.Â Â But it was ok, got to see some of the folks I use to work with....got some great hugs and kisses...it's kinda nice to be missed..*grins*Â Â My friend Tina's daughter (I've seen her grow up...watched her graduate from high school, get married, ..the whole nine yards)...she was in a drawing to win a new truck from one of the local gas stations and Radio station.Â Â Â And guess what!!!Â She won....it was so cool...she was so excited, and I was excited for her...
drmausÂ asked me in the comments of my last blog about the gas situation here in TN.Â Â Â I guess I told a fib when I said it wasn't effecting gas stations outside of Nashville.Â Â It is...I'm sorry for telling a lie...even tho unintentional.Â Â Â Â I noticed yesterday afternoon the gas station down on the Hwy from my house is out, and several on my way to work are out of certain grades.Â Â Â I guess I need to be more observant.Â
I've got tons of stuff I need to catch up on...so I better get to it.Â Â Hope everyone has a good Monday.Â Â Â

Ohhhh.... I'm sorry you feel so badly. I wish I were there to make you some tea and to turn down your bed when you got home from work. I could read you a story. My caregiver did those things for me when I was still hurting so much from back surgery. It felt so good to have someone really care for me. Just think of me tonight and know that in my heart, I'm thinking of you. ((((hugs)))) AnnieL

It was Wednesday or Thursday before we could hope to get gas in our area (we were out since Week ago friday) luckily I work out of town and they had gas... I haven't driven the car since Week ago friday. The motorcycle gets so much better MPG anyhow!

i think this bug going around is everywhere it has been all threw my house a couple times now. my son just came home from school with it a bit ago. here we go again fun fun lol
