I have a magnificent Rose of Sharon that continues to bloom even in drought. The invasive stuff continues to grow. However I have learned to love the virginia creeper. It does no harm and can't be killed.
It must be true if Ahab Nemo says it is.
Ted is in a wheel chair most of the time, always unsteady if we go out. The opthamologist tells me I can't see well enough to drive and Ted inforces that. His car has driver assist. So he is still a good driver. The joys of aging. I am with you on the general anasthesia, I always think of Joan Rivers. Stay strong and be careful. Sending love and best wishes.
It is bleak and dry here too. I water every day and it sure has not bothered the weeds. I hired a family of landscapers yesterday and although it was 101, they insisted on getting it done yesterday. They did a magnificent job but they were very expensive. A pepper plant that I have been taking care of, they assured me was a habonera pepper, the very hottest in the pepper family. Ted and I tried one and it was awfully hot.
Happy for your sisters!! I will keep my fingers and toes crossed.
Thanks for telling us about the new and satisfying career in tuning forks.
I am so sorry to hear this. It was a comfort to Bobby to make plans and probably also for Ed. Hospice care is a big help. I know you will remain strong because that is who you are. Love Jeri
Wonderfully said in response to Kavenaugh, Amy C.Barrett and Clarence Thomas.I cannot bear the thought that that schools are not safe. It is so simple, just take away the guns. As Kevin can confirm, Austrailia did and it worked.
I had several friends that were as close as sisters and I really miss them. Both of my neighbors who lived across the road from me passed away. I am in touch with their children and that helps.
iT SOUNDS JUST LIKE THE STIMULATION i NEED. eNROLL ME AT ONCE.
Martin...have you heard from Mike today. He was sick and with all the stress he has had from Fredo['s death, I worry about him. He has been tested for covid 5 times and it comes out negative. I am on this site every day so a message would be great. If you don't lose power.
That seems silly to me
We have a lot of birds but no humming birds. The Robins are doing their thing. There is a lot of flirting going on too.
I love your admiration for nature. We have a hot and dry climate but I am able to have crepe myrtle and many of the plants you mentioned.
