Here on the coast the Spring Breakers flock to the beach. Most of them come from either Portland, Salem, or Vancouver Washington. We do get some from Idaho too. The forecast says rain all next week. That means bitchy tourists. I like that the tourists come here to stimulate our economy, but at the same time they seem to bitch about everything. "Why does it have to rain when I come over?" The answer to that is...because it's the Oregon Coast. It rains 2/3 of the year. If you want sunshine...go to Hawaii, or Florida, or Southern California. I'm sorry that the rain puts a damper on your vacation. Don't blame us locals. We can't control the weather. Half the time we can't predict it. When it rains, go to the Chinook Winds Casino and stimulate the Native American economy. They even have an arcade to dump your kids at. Please don't bitch and complain. It ruins the day of (insert occupation here.) They are only trying to make you happy.
