I bet you all are thinking "oh shit, Draco is now going to put down fat people." Well I'm not. I'm putting down society for thinking that most of the plus-sized models you see on advertisements either in printed ads or on the posters in the plus-size section of a store are overweight. I'll be the first to admit that PD and I are fat. We each need to drop at least 50 pounds or more. But those models I mentioned look healthy. They may have some padding(by some, I mean very little) but they aren't humungous like what plus-size use to be back in the day. Society today considers anorexic girls like Lindsay Lohan and Kiera Knightley(just to name a few)to be the idea of perfection. Give me a break. You'd choke on a bone or break them in half trying to nail one of them. Pop culture today is a big farce. Jennifer Aniston when she first started on Friends looked "smokin' hot." You see her in a bikini today, it looks like her ribs are going to pierce thru her skin. Yuck.
I'm not promoting obesity. That is the furthest thing from my mind. I'm just saying that size zero is not healthy either. Next time you see an ad for (insert name of favorite discount or department store)and see the beautiful plus-sized model, that is not a fat chick. That is a beautiful woman.
