If Nikola Tesla were alive today, he would be 153 years old. Not bad for a man who actually invented the radio(but didn't get the recognition. It was Guglielmo Marconi who not only got the credit, but the patent and the Nobel Prize in Physics.) For more information on Mr. Tesla visit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikola_Tesla . It will give you all the information about everything involving his work. A fictionalized representation of his work was on the movie The Prestige starring Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale(directed by Batman Begins and The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan.) David Bowie played Nikola Tesla.
I know this isn't my normal topic of conversation but I felt that he should be recognized. Again visit the wikipedia page because there is so much information that I didn't want to bore you with in the post. I wanted to also let you know he did eventually get credited with the invention of the radio. Sadly he never lived to hear he won. The band Tesla was named after Nikola Tesla and their second album was titled "The Great Radio Controvery" (Their first was Mechanical Resonance.) Goes to show you that you should patent your inventions right away before some asshole steals it from you.
'nuff said.
