The Avatar that I have currently is depicting fake comic book heroes Blunt Man and Chronic. They were created by film maker Kevin Smith for the movie Chasing Amy. It's a movie about a comic book writer/artist who falls for a fellow comic book writer/artist who happens to be a lesbian. It's a great movie and I recommend it. It's part of the what he calls the "View Askewniverse" films in honor of his production company View Askew. They are five films he made that have connections to each other. Clerks, Mall Rats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. There is a sixth, Clerks 2, but that one sucked so bad I don't count it. The characters Blunt Man and Chronic shared the likenesses of constant characters in the View Askewnivers Jay and Silent Bob. In Chasing Amy, Jay and Silent Bob appeared in the end to collect their money for their likenesses being used. I recommend watching those films mentioned above in the order they came out.
