Trying To Find My Way Home...

It's so sad that the children always suffer the most during and after the divorce.I have two ex-husbands.The one I was married to for 18 years doesn't even acknowledge his kids or grandchildren.He carries a picture of his raccoon to show off,but none of his kids or grandchildren.
I could go on and on,but I try not to think of the pain he has put my family through.Laurie

I love summer except for the hot weather it brings with it and the afternoon showers everyday.South Florida gets pretty hot.I'm not complaining,believe it or not,I've never seen snow. Laurie

After waitressing for 20 years, I worked as a kennel Tech and helped run the doggie daycare.I took the lesser paying job for my love of animals.It's very rewarding work.My dream is to win the lottery and buy land to open a no-kill shelter for all animals.If you have any questions about running the doggie daycare,maybe I can answer some of them.I think it's an awesome idea if you can find or have the room.We offered Swedish massages,pool time,a 5 acre field to run in with a playground.You can even make more money offering bathing and nail clipping on the dogs.Each dog went home with a report card each day explaining what they did that day,the owners loved it!!!I have lots of ideas.Please write me if you want and I'll try my best to help you in any way I can.Laurie

I have been divorced twice.It's normal to feel the way you do.You are very lucky that your children still have their Dad in their lives.My youngest son had to practically raise himself after age 11.I had to work 60-70 hours a week to pay the bills.His Dad never showed up to pick him up for visitation.My son is now 26 and drinks to numb the pain.His Dad still isn't in his life.My ex doesn't even want to visit his 4 grandchildren.It amazes me that I actually was married to this man for 18 years.

I guess being twins they have a special bond.What's amazing is they have jobs and different interests.I guess they have to get along,they have no choice.This is sad and inspiring at the same time.Laurie
