One trick I use,because I have 5 dogs,of which 3 are large ,is enter with one knee up.I say back while I am coming in with knee raised to my chest.I am lucky to have a gated entryway too,so they can't get away.Good luck!!!Laurie

I take care of my parents,at their house,during the day.I also clean,do laundry,vacuum,etc...My "favorite" thing is to feed the birds each morning.
The big Black crows take over the bird bath and won't let any other birds near it.I feel so bad for the other birds.We have about 100 birds that come to feed and a few squirrels.That really is a cute picture of George.How sweet of your wife to give him a heating pad during the winter.Laurie

My ex spent late nights and many holidays helping people with plumbing problems.He didn't even charge extra.People thought since my husband was a plumber,we had money.Nope,we just got by.There are a few good plumbers out there but they are very hard to find.Laurie

We are only getting tons of rains in Broward County.I was commenting to you that we hadn't lost power and the next thing that happened was the power started flickering off and on.I had to restart the computer.So I'm back on for now but I don't think for long.Be safe......... Laurie
