I have borrowed money to get Molly's medication and food for 2 months.I have decided to do whatever I have to do,to keep my bestfriend.I delivered her and I have spent about $10,000[in vet costs] in 6 years to keep her alive.She developed epilepsy at one years old.She had 25 seizures in a row.The vet didn't think she would make it.She is a stubborn Bulldog and pulled through[Thank God].She takes medication twice a day,every 12 hours.

A year ago she developed protein lacking enteropathy.She has to take Imuran[a kidney transpant drug] for this condition.It can cause cancer but without it she can't absorb protein.

Molly fights so hard to stay alive for me.At one time this wasn't so.Her first 6 months she attacked me.Just me,nobody else.She was fighting to be the Alpha female.She bit my ankles and ripped all the bottom of my jeans.My hands were also ripped apart from her sharp little baby teeth.After 6 months she finally gave in and let me be the Alpha female.

Molly will only eat for me,walk for me,and will attack anyone but me if they try to move her.Did I mention I have had to hand feed her since she got sick with the protein lacking enteropathy?

During the day I have to take care of my Mother,who has Alzheimers.She is bedridden,wears diapers,and is fed through her stomach[peg site].Her medication is also put into her peg site.This is why I have a very limited income and can't afford Mollys medication,food and vet visits for her bloodwork.

I called an agency today to see if I can get someone to take care of my Mom during the day.It all depends on what the cost will be.If I can go back to being a waitress,I should be able to have enough money to take care of Molly.

So Molly has many more weekends to spend with me.
