Happy belated Valentines Day !
Hope you all had a happy one. I was pretty much spoiled by the husband with a steak, potatoes and lobster tail in a salad that included some yummy oranges. He topped it off with a flourless chocolate torte that I am still enjoying.
(looks kind like this one)

I found a wonderful treasure today.. I was getting my grandmothers quilt ready to be sandwiched inside a quilt I am making ( it's just a way to pass it on) when I suddenly discovered that inside THAT quilt was another quilt she had made. I guess the original quilt became tattered and she decided to cover it. I will show it to my mom and see if she remembers any of her own childhood clothing in it.

Saw a wonderful play last week in our local theater. Gee's Bend. A true story, lots of history from Gee's Bend, Alabama.
I meet this wonderful women that are in the photo below. I attended an hour forum before the play started. Please google "Gee's Bend " and ck out their story for a good read. They finished up the forum singing old hymns ... it was amazing and wonderful!!

Flying to Indianapolis tomorrow to see the son and grandson~ Lordy, say a prayer for me please, I'm not looking forward to the "ride."
Take care all, have a great week.
