There was a story about transplant recipients who later developed aids and died. Seems they hadn't tested the donor or maybe it didn't show up in the test. I'll give my parts up, but I don't want anyone else's parts in me. Yes, let's get the ball rolling on stem cell research!

I get cortisone shots in my spine every three months or so and if I didn't I wouldn't be able to move. They are wonderful for so many things. But - if they aren't in just the right spot, they don't do a darn thing. Sounds like she knows where the nerves are. Too bad she was such a jerk, that probably didn't help your pain at all! I hope you're feeling better now.

BS&T was one of my favorite groups. They came to my little counter-culture college in the middle of a cornfield and played. We had many, many concerts (nothing else to do) but that one was one of my faves. I'd love to hear David Clayton-Thomas in person again. What a voice! As for the question, I think it's a true story. Sad about Paul Davis. I liked his music.

Take heart, dear. Scientists are studying brain farts and how to predict them and therefore prevent them. Volunteers for the study get to wear "mind reading" hats. I don't think they're made out of tin foil...

I live in Michigan. I can't put my snow shovels away until the middle of May... I have seen snow in May. Michigan has the most perfect spring, summer and fall, but we do have some weird stuff too. It's been in the 70's for the last week - and I'm loving it but... I haven't put my long jons away yet either.

My husband hammers like a girl and whenever I saw him try to use a screwdriver, I got stomach spasms from laughing so hard. The thought of him even touching a chain saw gave me nightmares.
