Pedophiles are criminals who fornicate with underage children. Usually,
this is a horrendous traumatic experience for the child that warps his
life forever.
For
many victims the rape is a prelude to a criminal career. In prison they
call pedophiles ‘skin men’ who can expect severe bodily damage from
inmate victims.
Many South American prisons have death squads set to
torture and mutilate sex offenders. Other nations isolate sex offenders
while incarcerated and list them as a warning to communities wherever
they reside upon release.
Pedophiles are mentally ill and should seek mental treatment BEFORE they harm anyone.
By my definition, a ‘wonderful priest’ would help his errant pedophile cohort to find suitable treatment for his disorder.
A
worthwhile Church would protect its youngest members from predatory
priests. Instead, it has historically protected the pedophiles.
If somebody feels comfortable in an institution that protects pedophiles, so be it.
