Apparently the sex industry in Syria
is flourishing with the arrival of Iraqi refugee women, whom out of desperation
turn to such means to earn an income so that their families back in Iraq can
survive. Is this the democracy that Mr. Bush promised the Iraqi people.
This is beyond wrong. This is immoral and irresponsible from the part of the
authorities.
I think Iraqi women should have a right to work in Syria, even though there are
already 2 million Iraqis in Syria and countries such as Saudi Arabia, that is
supposedly a "muslim" country, the number of Iraqi refugees is
probably less than 10!..
The Syrian authorities should not allow this to happen, the whole prostitution
industry in Syria
should be wiped out, along with all the "nightclubs" and prostitution
houses.
