The House Judiciary
Committee is set to hold a hearing on Friday on Congressman Dennis Kucinich's
measure to impeach President Bush. The single article of impeachment accuses
Bush of deceiving Congress in order to authorize the invasion of Iraq. In an
online video, Kucinich thanked the scores of Americans who had written in to
support his efforts.

Rep. Dennis
Kucinich
:
"We're in danger of losing our country to a war based on lies, to destruction
of our civil liberties, but it's your commitment and your willingness to stand
up and speak out that has enabled me to take a stand and to say not only are we
going to save what's right and save what's dear to us, but we're going to hold
this administration accountable so that it never happens again."-

You are welcome!! Yeah, some things you can't find on snopes.com but several things you can. Oh yeah there were and are still a lot of folks upset about the way Waco went down.

Our Congress is used to wasting time and taxpayers cash. This will be one more example. Bush is toast. He's a lame duck. He's done. Congress should go on to more important matters such as energy independence, the crashing economy, the mortgage mess, the dumping of our national treasury on the basketcase countries of the middle east and climate change.

True, I agree they should have done Clinton in back in 1993. That was awful and living just two hours away from Waco it was on our news all of the time. Yes, that would be a disaster for McCain. I know what you mean about not knowing if some stories are legit. Have you tried www.snopes.com? That is pretty accurate I have found.

I remember the Clinton impeachment. It was for lying under oath, but the underlying reason was something a lot less serious. I am hopeful, but I won't count on it. If anyone did deserve this however, it would most certianly be Bush. I couldn't see it happening to a nicer guy

Personally I don't think anything will come of this. Clinton was impeached for lying under oath and still remained in office to the end. Nothing really came of it after he left office either.
