Time Mystery

A friend and I were talking this morning about time and what happens to it when you retire. Basically, we said that one day it is Monday morning and one blink later it is Friday and the week is over. How does that happen? And why does it happen every week? We don't like it. In between those blinks we go to our fitness center and exercise five mornings a week. Time flies when you are having fun but is all that exercise that much fun? I guess so.

Isn't that the name of a movie? A little timely, topical humor there...

I've heard that said by retirees all my life, and I swore I wouldn't be among them. Alas, I am. So much to do, and so little time to do it.

I think you work harder now than you ever did as a teacher. Hard physical labor.

Time charges on ahead, doesn't it? I like the idea of blink and it's Friday.

People don't believe me when I say that being retired I can't get everything done--I still don't know how I worked and did everything else!!!!

When I was still working, we had retired teachers (I worked for a school district.) come in all the time saying they didn't know how they had time to work. That makes sense now, doesn't it?
