I am glad to see that you are "going native" with your plantings. Look into thinning your seeds with perlite or sand when it is planting time. You can make a little go a long way and you can see where you have planted.

I had that happen a few years ago. The leak was not from a connection on the hose; it was inside the case. I put a pan under the washer to contain the water temporarily and the leak fixed itself. It has now been three years with no leak.

This was frightening to watch. You were so close taking the video. The water was so close to your house. The sound of the never ending rushing water would have just about sent me over the edge. You are one brave woman.

This may help you with your planting efforts. In my prairie restoration work, we have had occasion to plant on steep slopes. We mix the seed with Perlite first. This spreads the seed out a little. The seed is easy to see on the ground when it is thinned with Perlite. Perlite is also a soil conditioner available from garden centers or online. We scatter by hand, sometimes raking it in with a four pronged rake, sometimes just letting nature take its course. Once I remember using a mesh landscape fabric to hold the seed in place. The sprouts just grew up through the mesh. We held the mesh in place with some kind of pegs which were removed later but the mesh stayed.

This looks interesting. I just read an article about that affair a month ago.

Good! Now no one will slip off the sides into the river when it gets snowy and icy. I didn't realize that your bridge was so narrow.

You will have that coat for many years. It is not a frivolous purchase even though it may seem like that now. Remember that you are worth it.

Yay! You can have as much heat as you want now, correct?

I did not know about freezing avocados. Learn something every day even at my advanced years. Hah. Your party sounds great-an eclectic mix of strangers with something in common-you! I live in a bagel eating town. Don't leave the bagels unfrozen too long if they don't have preservatives. They will mold.
