I remember quite a lot about kindergarten but not what I did yesterday. Hah! I always loved crepe paper. There was one that was dark blue with silver stars. Beautiful. Do they still make crepe paper?

I like to sit by the window on a plane and look down at the landscape. Lately there have been a lot of wind turbines. I have everything I need and want so I think consumables, like cocoa mixes, are fine presents. I requested a fruit cake from the Collins Street bakery in Texas from my son. I must be the only person who likes fruitcake.

I just finished the last of the turkey (except for one small package in the freezer) for breakfast. Leftover creamed turkey on toast. Leftovers are the best part of Thanksgiving for me. No cooking for days and days.
It is always a good day when you check in with us. I hope the day went well. Isn't planning for a trip one of the best parts of the trip? For me, the trip starts when I begin the planning.
I keep trying to convince my daughter that nothing new can come into the house unless something else goes out. We have too much stuff after combining several households. It is a lost battle.
My friends who saw the Book of Mormon here loved it, but some other people were shocked. Didn't they know what it was about? I saw the PBS Company last week. It was great. Neil Patrick Harris did a great job. Patti Lupone was superb. I still miss Elaine Stritch.
We had many tornadoes hit 7 states around here last week. At least ten came down in Illinois, destroying many houses and towns. There was not a lot of national news coverage when it happened, unlike when Sandy hit NY and NJ. They are having lots of volunteers now but I am sure the numbers will wane as time goes by, just like is happening near you. It will take years to rebuild.
