There was an article about chia seeds on Sunday in the Chicago Tribune. Very healthy for us. They said to soak the seeds in a glass of liquid and they will get gel-like, sort of like tapioca. Then you just drink it right down. Or you can cook with them.

I too grew up going to the movies, including drive-ins when I was a teenager and then a parent with kids in their pjs in the backseat. Going to the show was what we did on dates. I don't go to see movies in theaters much any more. I mostly watch them on DVD. I watch more TV than movies now. I must say that I enjoy your reviews.
We got rain today finally. It should be headed for you now. Our gas went to $3.99 - $4.19 this week. There is a gas shortage in our area. There was a leak at a refinery in IN, I believe. A lot of oil was lost and the refinery had to shut down so there you go-our prices go up.

I accidentally came upon this film and starting watching, thinking it was about one of the Olympic athletes. When I realized it was not, I kept watching. What an interesting and sad film. The history of the times is something that gets forgotten but shouldn't.
