My neighbor three doors up died in his house and was not found for two weeks. His mailbox was full. The carrier thought he was out of town and forgot to have his mail taken in.
I enjoy exercising. I go to my fitness center 6 mornings a week. I recently took up tai chi. That is the one you see with old Chinese people moving slowly in a park. I found out just how bad my balance is.
The show has been playing for a couple of years in Chicago (before it went to New York) and is still going strong. The music is great and appeals to a certain demographic-Mine.

My friend's mother in Brooklyn lost power for a little while but no flooding. She is in her 90s and infirm with a caregiver. It could have been disastrous for her as well.

My cat yowled and talked to me for 7 minutes going to the vet in his carrier yesterday. I can't imagine hearing that yowling and crying for 6 hours. Meow!
Re #13. My friends and I have talked about this. We generally tip 10-15% because there are generally people bussing the tables, even if we don't have full servers.
If you like word games, have you thought about playing Words with Friends? It is similar to Scrabble online. i need to warn you that it is addictive to some. I am going round and round with Oprah the Magazine. They tell me I owe for a two year renewal; I say I only renewed for one year and paid already. We shall see who wins.
I sold Avon for 13 years. Now I can't find a local seller except for kiosks in malls. I still think of the Brooklyn Dodgers. How many years has that been?
I still have plants outside. Every day I think this is the day to bring them in, then it gets nice again. Every warm day is a blessing now. I hope the good weather holds until after Halloween and the kids get to wear their costumes without coats.

My mother was 10 in 1910. Everyone in her family graduated from high school. My father was the first in his family (13 kids) to graduate. He set the precedent for the later ones.
