We had rain twice recently, but we are still in a severe drought. The brown grass is green again and I have had to mow for the first time in more than a month. The heat is over, the a/c is turned off, and the windows are open. We are sleeping under covers again. It was 59 degrees for the last two nights and 75 during the day. This is not middle of August weather, but since we had August weather for the last two months, we will take it happily. School starts on Wednesday for younger grandson. He has his new school shoes and school supplies. I am not ready for summer to be over. I am still waiting for some tomatoes from my garden.
