Do you use Groupon? I just made a quick lunch run to my local Mexican restaurant. Groupon was offering a Groupon Now deal-$6 for a $10 meal at Grande Jake's which had to be used by 3 pm today. And I had a $5 credit to use today. So I bought the deal. I paid $1. I came home with 4 chicken enchiladas, refried beans, Spanish rice, shredded lettuce and tomato slice, sour cream and a side of guacamole (guac was extra-$1.75). Total cost to me $3.43. I love Groupon.

Sounds like a deal. My "groupon" in my 15'c freezer--still packed to the lid.

It's great. Some of the businesses that participate have under-estimated the response and were snowed under, so we've learned to check ahead and make sure they are still honoring the deals.

i wonder if some of the businesses actually lose money. I think they are counting on repeat business at full price.

I've used groupon for over a year now plus they have a lot of competition these days--I get 7-8 different e-mail deals every day from various web sites!
