I was only a few years older than M. J. when he first entered the UK charts with I want you back - 'instant' hit - the Jackson 5 were 'well loved' by the teenagers (older folks too - my mum adored it)! I suppose, that I do 'prefer' his older stuff, but then again, I still 'singalong' with the more recent songs too

so I think that you can't keep a good singer 'down' - and that's what he was

I can't listen to music on the Internet and it's just as well...the last thing I need is to start crying.

But now I'm going to dig out my Jackson Five CD....

Yes it was a film about a Rat - but it was an 'intelligent' Rat, good story actually, I remember holding back the tears

I think Michaels voice is so, full of 'pathos' in this song - I got to be honest, just listening to it, could reduce me to tears as well. This is, my favourite single
