I have just been watching (‘listening’ to be honest, but with a quick glimpse at an interesting bit) the news on tv.
It focussed on a cat, who had been a resident of ‘Battersea Dog and Cat’s Home’ in London.
He had been chosen (I assume), by a housekeeper, for number 10, Downing Street, (the Prime-ministers residence), because in a recent interview with a person who had just left the house, a ‘large rat’ strolled across the doorstep (no, it was not a politician, it was a ‘furry one’) lol
The ‘camera man’ caught it a treat, hence the need for a rat-catcher . . . at least the prime-minister can say he has ‘employed someone’, instead of laying someone off! . . . .
