Where do I start?

It is a rather boring Tuesday on the ranch... which isn't a bad thing. At least all is quiet on the calving front. I must say, it hasn't been the best of seasons. I lost 3 calves altogether. One just disappeared (probably coyotes), one drowned in the creek, and one just died.. don't know why. We still have about 8 cows to go.

I'm behind in bookkeeping... but always behind in that area. I hate bookkeeping!!!!

I spend too much time blogging, but love connecting with ya'll. Life wouldn't be the same without my blog friends. Also spending too much time on Facebook as I'm now commenting to mybloggers bloggers with, "I like that." lol

JR's in a really bad mood. His truck has been in the shop for a week. The mechanics just don't understand that a truck not running means we don't get paid! Aaaugh!!!!

Economically... we are in bad shape. But so is the rest of the country. JR says our house of cards is crumbling.

The doctor from Medford called yesterday and she put me on a vitamin D supplement. Seems my blood tests showed that my "D" count was really really low. I have an appointment on April 23rd to see her. In the meantime, I'm laying off sugars, carbs, and anything that a prediabetic shouldn't eat.

Okay... it is time to get on with the day... especially since it is almost noon here.
