Yesterday, I went to Klamath Falls for my first diabetic education class. I got my little testing machine and learned how to use it. I also got a quick course on what is going on with my body, insulin, and sugar. I now have another appointment with the dietician to learn how to plan menus.

I already know quite a lot about what I can eat and can't eat as I have been studying on the internet. One of the most important changes I need to make is to eat on a regular basis. I'm one of these people who eat when I have time and so I end up going all day sometimes before I get around to eating. That is definitely a bad habit that needs to be changed. I've also read that I need to eat brown rice instead of white rice. I hate brown rice, but I will learn to like it. lol

Thank you my dear blog friends for always being so supportive. You guys are great!!!!! Does anyone have any good recipes for brown rice?????
