You aren't going to like my answer... but I would definitely say, Jesus. Although, I think you would probably make for great dinner conversation, too. I guess we just should have a party and invite everyone.
Our meadow looks like a mine field because of squirrel holes. Then the badgers come along digging for the squirrels and make even bigger holes. We call those little guys "squeaks" because they chirp at each other. They aren't regular gophers, but very similar. What a nuisance!!!!

Flu shots.... that is a good idea. I had one last year because of Chance. The family all got them so we hopefully wouldn't get sick and expose Chance to anything. I didn't get sick all year. Soooo... it is back for another flu shot this year.
Sounds like you handled the situation at work in the correct way. It isn't good to get in the middle of who has the power. We don't have trick or treaters way out here, but I'm going to buy some candy just for myself. Like I really don't need that stuff, but Halloween and Easter... one has to have candy. lol
That is great that you and your children are buying gifts for the children with cancer. Chance got sooooo much stuff, but we were all very touched by the out pouring of love from people we knew and those we didn't know. We really were blessed.
