I know... the moon has been beautiful lately. I blogged about it yesterday. In the past, I've tried to get pictures of the moon... but I can't seem to capture the beauty of what I am seeing with my own eye. Fact is, by the time my camera stops taking the pic, the moon has moved and I've got a series of moons in the same photo. Either that or I'm just to old and shakey to take a clear picture.
We've really missed you, too, Elfie. But we understand about being busy. Glad you dropped in to say hello and give us an update. I feel so sorry for everyone who is loosing jobs. The economy is really a mess. JR is having trouble getting loads for the truck. The loads just aren't out there. Today he called and talked about us selling the cows. We will do what we have to do, but selling the cows is just pure heartbreak for both of us.
Anyhow... good to hear from you. Love ya friend. Annie :o)
I was just reading about the fires on a online news report. It is just terrible. I lived in Glendale for a year and I remember those winds. Is everything okay in the Chino Hills. I have a cousin who lives in Chino just at the base of the hills. She and her husband built several houses in the Chino Hills area and I know they had really strict building codes to help protect against fire. I also had friends in the San Diego area who sold and moved to Montana to get away from the fires. No wander California is always broke. Between fires, earthquakes, and mud slides, it just isn't good.
Hi Hobbes-
I was driving down our dirt road yesterday and I saw a kitty that looked just like you running across the road and hiding in the sagebrush. Do you have a cousin living out here in the West? Anyhow... I thought about you and how lucky you are to have a Dad like Jon who takes such good care of you. People drop off cats out here all the time and they have to learn to survive which is difficult because of all the coyotes running around. It breaks my heart when I see these cats, but they are usually to scared to be caught and brought up here to the ranch. If they happen to find their way here, then I feed them. It is just very sad.
Your friend - Annie :o)
Your Thanksgiving sounds like it will be wonderful. Lots of good food and great conversation.
My Hubby was just in Houston the last couple of days. He was at the port to load some containers going to Seattle. I was hoping you would be feeling better. Maybe you better have an xray or something after that fall you had. A pain in your neck doesn't sound good. My prayers are with you Nena.
(((hugs))) Annie :o)
Maybe there are other reasons women cheat. Like... their husband is abusive, he doesn't give a sh-t about the marriage because his work is more important, he lays around the house while his wife works and then spends her income and savings, he nags, etc..... etc.
How cute... but I think you may be in trouble.
Man Murders His Lawnmower. Sounds like JR when he looses his temper. I've seen him shooting bird shot in to his rusty antique Oldsmobile as he was after a rat.
What a weird story. Sure glad that Cymbeline is okay.
I think you are totally correct as to what happened with this vote. Also, I don't think it is right that the churches and blacks should be targeted. It broke my heart to see the demonstrations in front of Saddleback Church and the attack on the Mormon church (although, I'm not fond of Mormons). I am for free speech, but take it to the streets and don't blame the churches. Not all churches voted against Gay marriage. Many San Francisco churches voted for it and we are talking conservative Baptist.
Just my thoughts - Annie :o)
Love this video!!!! I love dancing!!!! But... my back doesn't like these moves.
HOpe you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I have spent Thanksgiving alone on occassion and it was very depressing. I say, the bigger the celebration... the more fun. Enjoy!!!!
Wearing red every Friday sounds like a good idea. I would have to buy a red shirt. I never buy red because it has to be washed by itself.... it fades.
