Guess I'll be expecting to have a white Valentine's Day. It snowed a couple of inches last night and according to weather report... more is on the way within the coming days. It really is pretty out there right now with the snow clinging to the branches of the trees.

It kinda caught me by surprise last night. There was just a few tiny flakes falling when I kenneled the dogs at dusk. I then forgot about it and when I went to get some wood for the stove at 10pm, everything was covered. Annie dog was also surprised when I let her out just before bedtime. She stopped at the edge of the steps and wasn't sure she was going out in that stuff. I told her she had to go, so reluctantly she ventured out.
