I thought that secret blog was a good idea.... but now I've changed my mind. It is like blogging to the wind and all the people listening are just strangers. I'm not in the mood to start making new friends. I'll just stick with the ones I already have because they are pretty good friends!!!!

It has been a busy Memorial Day weekend. I went to the Bonanza Community Memorial Day barbecue on Sunday. I say lots of people I grew up with and lots of new people I didn't know. It was great fun!!! It is always held at the local cemetary unless it is raining and then they move it to the firehouse. Yesterday was a beautiful day and in fact, I got a sunburn, especially the top of my head. Ouch!!!!

JR is spending most of the weekend killing monster woodrats. He killed one that was in the farm pickup that was huge. We are being overrun with rats and ground squirrels this year. Sometimes my lawn looks like it is alive because there are sooooo many squirrels running across it. Now the lawn is full of squirrel holes.
