It is a beautiful day in my part of Oregon. We are enjoying sunshine for the second day in a row. Ohhhh... it feels good. Although, I must admit, I didn't want to get out of bed and start this day. It is my own fault for staying up waaaaay to late last night.
Yesterday while I was out tending the twins and the still reluctant mother, a Mountain Bluebird came by to visit with me. Actually, it didn't visit, but just sat and watched all that was going on, so I watched it back. They are so beautiful with the prettiest blue coloring... almost vibrant. They are one of my favorite birds that show up this time of year and stay until late summer. I also enjoy the Lesser Finch and Goldfinch with their yellow colors.
It is too early yet for any wild flowers and even the grass is just beginning to grow. Everything is still very much brown from the long winter. There are a small herd of about 20 deer hanging around. I enjoy watching them, too.
Well... now I reluctantly need to get on with my day. Plus, while I'm sitting here typing, I keep hearing noises from the kitchen. I suspect I have a mouse and I need to set a trap.
Ya'll have a great day - Annie :o)
