IF I WERE........

A gardener – I would plant daffodils and gladiolas.

An artist – I would paint California Missions, children playing in a park, and pictures of flower gardens.

A farmer – I would raise alpacas and Moreno wool sheep and sell the yarn to Nittineedles.

An architect – I would build a glass aquarium in the middle of the ocean to view fish in their natural habitat.

A teacher – I would teach dyslexic children to read.

An actor – I would play the part of Maria from “Sound of Music.”

A singer – I would sing “The hills are alive… with the sound of music.”

A preacher – I would speak about forgiveness and loving others.

A traveler – I would visit Paris and the Great Wall of China.

An explorer – I would search for Bigfoot and sometimes sunken treasure in the seas of the world.

A politician – I would try to cut taxes.

A writer – I would definitely be writing sad love stories. (I’ve had a lot of experience in that area.)

A scientist – I would seek a cure for cancer.

A zoologist – I would work with the exotic cats… lions, tigers, etc.

A photographer – I would photograph flowers and the wild animals of Africa.

A detective – I would try to solve the case of Jack the Ripper.

A biographer – I would write about my own dad… the wild west fur trapper, sheep herder and shearer, world traveler, farmer, survivor of the Great Depression, hunter, fisherman, migrant worker, fiddler, dancer, outdoorsman (hiked to the top of Pikes Peak), etc…. Also wonderful son, husband, and father!!!!

A gourmet cook – I would be known for my rosemary, lemon, garlic roasted chicken served with fresh spring asparagus, and cheesy potatoes. For dessert….. apple pie.

A US President – I would strive for more open communication and understanding between the people and leaders of the world and work for world peace.

A representative to the United Nations – I would make it clear if North Korea as much as blinks an atomic eye, I would “shock and awe” their whole country… so much for diplomacy.
