I am still not used to the new location and I miss the fish tank from the Cordova site but the food is still excellent even if the surroundings aren't 'old Florida' anymore!
I don't know how long I have been going to the Quarterdeck but it has been for at least 20+ years and have never had less than a good meal there whether a burger, ribs or their shrimp scampi but I still think the Jambalaya is still the best. And chefs make a big difference because even though I have tried it at both the beach and Dania locations it is better here!
We generally go for dinner before attending the Broward Performing Arts Center but we decided to go for lunch and each had the Jambalaya ($16 each). Allen doesn't usually have the peppers in it and I take his and this time they served all the peppers on the side.
I had coffee ($2) and Allen had the diet coke ($2.99) so with tax and tip our check came to $50 which is a bit high for lunch but the food was certainly worth it and the server, Katherine, was a winner including her attention to detail even in minor ways.
Maybe I will get used to the 'new' location feel but as long as their food and service is the best I'll keep on going there!
