Here’s what NOT to wear to a wedding. While I don't think I have committed any of these faux pas, I'm not 100% sure. There's probably some bride out there fuming about how I ruined her wedding by showing up in the wrong outfit.
1. Don’t do denim.
Dark wash? Wide leg? It doesn’t matter.
2. It’s not your day.
Keep the fashion statements to a whisper.
3. White out.
She should be the only person in white or ivory.
4. Bridesmaid blunder.
Avoid wearing the bride’s colors as you may blend into her reception line.
5. Rated PG.
If it screams sexy, leave it at home.
The last wedding I went to was in 2005 when my cousins from England got married by Elvis in Las Vegas. You can see that fashion was very important. Yes, the bride's hair is the same bright red as her shoes and the groom is wearing a maroon tux that clashes with her hair and shoes. And yes, she was 22 and he was 42. Okay, he wasn't really Elvis.
