My favorite iris color is yellow, but I like seeing all the variations and most of them have the most wonderful smell.
The oriental poppies look so nice with the blues and purples of the iris. We have a good-sized bed of them at our place in the mountains but because of the altitude and how hot the days are when they are ready to bloom they don't always give us a great show.
