On the lower left, air traffic for a typical Monday and Tuesday to and from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport (KORD). On the upper right, Monday and Tuesday, February 1st and 2nd, 2011, during Chicago's Blizzard of 2011.
You can see traffic diminish as the storm arrives, falling to nothing in the late evening. In the third part, the typical Tuesday begins with hudreds of flights in and out of ORD... Tuesday after/during the blizzard? No flights.
