While I'm thinking about it, I wanted to tell you about Jeri's sofa. She always struggled with posting pictures so we had to wait for her family to post some on Facebook.

The brand is Rachlin, and it is perfect for her house and personality: opulent and artsy. There was fringe and curves, and overall just fun. It went well with her French bistro style kitchen, and artwork on the walls.

That sofa was a huge thing, several people could sit on it, and two people could stretch out on each end for a nap and not touch feet. Two or three people could lounge on it and check their phone or do laptop stuff or run the TV via remote and feel like they had plenty of room so not required to converse - enough zones for all.

My memory of it was that the shape of the front actually undulated, so each end and the middle curved toward each other slightly, making it not feel like a big giant bench. But I couldn't find a picture of that, and it's possible my memory is faulty.

There was some issue with the chenille-covered seat cushions early on, so she found a local upholsterer to cover them with dark red vinyl (or similar) and it was perfect because then people could snack and not worry about spills.

Her family room has this same feel as the picture - big windows looking out at a green area with that big sexy couch. The ceiling probably isn't as high, but high enough. The back part of the house was added on, doubling the size of an otherwise so-so 1970s tract house.
