Caesars Entertainment, is going to build a ferris wheel over by the Flamingo and Imperial Palace to outshine the London Eye, as well as the Eyeâ€™s more recent international rivals. The Vegas wheelâ€™s name: The High Roller, what else?

Gasoline prices are around $3.80 here in Las Vegas, but they are around $4.15 in southern California. Much of the tourist business in Las Vegas comes on weekends when Californians drive here, so if the price gets too high, they don't come.

The spring flowers are starting to bloom, including the globe mallow in our yard.
