Strider, you give me hope for Our Democratic Republic.

I begin to suspect that, just before he chose Palin, McCain decided that, in the spiraling economy, he saw "the writing on the wall" and decided he didn't really WANT to be president. He chose a Vice Presidential candidate who would put the mark of Cain on his campaign, doom it to failure.
Unfortunately, lots of women are assuming that because Sarah Palin is a woman, she will be a great substitute for Hillary Clinton.

They are complete opposites, politically, but there are lots of women who don't really follow politics much, who think she would be just dandy, anti-woman as she is.

I remember the headline that said "Dewey Defeats Truman. I'm still concerned.

McCain's sleaze train will keep on rolling. We Obama supporters can't get complacent. We need to keep working hard to get Barack into the White House and deliver a filibuster proof Senate majority.

fI am hoping against hope but let's not get complacent. Urge everyone to get out and vote. Especially young people who are more open minded.

The tide has turned; it's just a matter of by how much now. McCain is a man with no hope now.

I think it will be a landslide against McCain, that is why they are pushing this Acorn crap, to challenge his wins in battleground states.

Anyone else remember who it was the fired U.S. attorneys got in trouble for not chasing in election years. If you guessed Acorn, you got a cookie...
