Based on her previous behavior and comments, I had absolutely no difficulty believing the story. Gosh Darn It, indeed.

Are you sure there isn't a guy out there collecting animals because God told him to build an Ark?
Humor is my best defense against tragedy. Then I just start doing what needs doing.
You keep on keeping on. Colorado has been in many prayers. My friend Patty may get a new house, her damage is so bad, but her hubby says they will keep on truckin'.

I grew up in Chicago, and was riding the El and the subway alone at nine. today I don't go to the city without a bodyguard. Times change. back then I might have made a kidnapper miserable enough to pay my parents to take me back. Today they would probably just murder me and toss my body in a dumpster.

American media should have learned by now the difference between a hero and a terrorist. Shame on Rolling Stone!

July 18, 2013 dateline, London. Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabet II has, as Monarch and head of the Church of England, given her approval of gay marriage. To these old eyes, that is what progress looks like.

Following your suggestion, I have moved my meditation period to the evening. It helps. Another thing I DI was resolve to turn off all the electronics, computer, radio, audio books, about 90 minutes before bedtime. This lets my brain. Have a wind down period before I begin my meditation. My doc said this happens to a lot of people, but few actively work to change the circumstances so it will stop.

You're going to be patient, and stick to it, and one day you will be amazed to hear ho far you've come.

Goddess bless Margaret Sanger! Her work has finally successfully given women control over our reproductive organs. Males who have fought for so long to control us have lost!

Oh, Teal, so sorry to hear of your troubles. We all have them, but that's cold comfort. Given my preference, I will stick to Linux for my desk-top. Unfortunately, because sitting up is a challenge, I'm using the iPad I got for Christmas two years ago. Typing on it is a bear, and it corrects what I type to what it thinks I should be saying. I suspect the computer mouse is trained to open whatever the pointer passes over. Vile trick, that.

I had my last even casual connection to the Catholic church when a woman who stayed with her abusive husband until he beat her to death was Cannonized, or declared a saint, as a Martyr to fidelity in the Sacrament of Matrimony. Those men in dresses telling women to be submissive have A LOT to answer for. I believe we are all one, but I also believe organized religion exists for the sole purpose of controlling ordinary people.
Celebrate that you survived, and let the horrid past lie quiet with the evil people who abused you. Have a wonderful life! Living well is your birthright.

Also, it's a shame it never occurred to him to get a job and earn his own money, against the day when he was no longer a cute piece of fluff.
